    Betty is holding her straw in a very convincing way, but Ronnie isn't and you are hiding the selling point of your drawing with her hand blocking the action.

    The color values are too close together, giving it a very muddy feeling.

    There's no sense that they are in a bright sunlit interior. Despite the fact that Betty looks sunburnt.

    By converting this image to grayscale, you can see how Betty’s skin, hair and the bubbles, glass and holder are the same value. Their shirts and the chair are very close to the same value.

    Almost every color falls in the middle value range. This is what’s creating this muddy look as there is no sense of separation with the values of the color.
