Kong: Skull Island alternate poster contest

Hi everyone, I haven't been here for awhile, it's good to see PencilJack is still kicking around.

I recently entered Kong: Skull Island alternate poster contest, it was a fun exercise, something to take my mind away from all the engineering stuff I have to do at the day job. I certainly enjoyed it, wish I still get to do fun stuff such as this.

I loved being a little more creative on the movie title, it's probably going to get me some points off because it's not as clear as typical movie poster supposed to be, but it out ok, not as great as I wish it could be, it looked better when it was in my head, oh well.

Let me know what you think.

If you are interested, below is the link to the contest page. There's no voting involved, but you could check out other posters while you are there. There are some pretty cool stuff I think.

Looks great as an animal fight, but without scale to compare, Kong it's just a very well drawn gorilla, some humans or trees would have made the difference.

You are absolutely right, helicopter debris and uprooted trees were planned in the initial concept, I just ran out of time, so it was omitted to meet the deadline.

    Thanks for the comment, Josem.

I'm with Josem about scale. But it looks fantastic anyway! It reminds me of Frank Cho's work on Shanna and Wolverine. And as a fan of him I love it!
