Normal people in Day Care Center pages
I like both your line art and digital painting, really nice work! Very different. The line art pages have a lot of white, and some gray, and outlines, and with backgrounds that suggest depth well (through overlapping layers). The pages are easy on the eye and read well. the painted art in contrast is color, suggests volume well, you even soften the cast shadows in favor of being able to suggest the underlying volume, and they have relatively little background. Both approaches look nice to me, nice work! What's your favorite? Will you return to line work, and color it also?
Thanks for the compliments and astute analysis ayalpinkus.
I won’t be coloring that particular line art, as that was done for comic books as part of the assembly line process to be colored by someone else.
I prefer doing line work. It’s the most natural for me.
I will be putting up some line work I colored myself shortly.
