    Thanks! I appreciate that.

Oh man, I love Frank Robbins. I love that whole old-school newspaper adventure strip look, with the heavy blacks, like Robbins and Sickles and especially Caniff.

You definitely have a style of your own. Maybe not fully-baked yet, but the fundamentals are there. There's a unity with all your stuff, even when the surface style is different.

Used to draw Wolverine ALL THE TIME. Not so much anymore. Thought I'd try again but then Cyclops seemed more interesting and then Colossus jumped in and took over. Never got past these sketches of Logan.

A friend requested a drawing of Dave Cockrum's team The Futurians.

Really nice stuff, VX! Those last couple with Wolvie were definitely sweet (although in the first one, Logan definitely looks like he could use a sandwich or two! LOL!) Love that second shot of him walking towards the camera; really nice foreshortening going on there and he looks like he has the appropriate level of Wolvie pissedoffedness! BTW, I knew I saw a bit of Ron Lim influence in your work (along with Robbins). Lim's work, I think, is greatly under appreciated, but I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that he came up in the ranks largely at the same time as some of the really big guns like McFarlance and Lee and he just kind of got overshadowed by their presence.

Yeah, Wolverine looked too tall and thin in that first sketch. I always have that problem when I draw him.

I think people tended to overlook Ron Lim because his style wasn't as 'flashy' as his peers. But he always did superbly solid work and was amazingly consistent. I get the feeling that he was very reliable which is probably part of the reason he got so much work back then.

Really nice stuff. I would say to watch out with how u render waists. On the wolverine sketches and the front female power ranger, the waists are abnormally small.
Raised as a babe in drawing arenas to become the art warrior that I am today.

D'oh. You're right about the waists. I'm trying to keep on top of so many things I draw poorly that it seems like something else always pops up.

My Christmas Art Swap partner requested a shot of the new CW version of the Flash. Not finished yet.
