    R.I.P. MLaw's Sketchbook(NSFW)

Random stuff, studies and non-project works.
Crits welcome but be fair and keep it constructive.

It's been a while since I did focused studies on anatomy and feet have been bugging me lately so I thought I would sit down with my old friend Burne and spend some quality time discussing feet.

Anyway.. here's some foot studies from Dynamic Figure Drawing by Burne Hogarth. Drawn on 11x17 copy paper.

This was a fun piece, just kinda screwing around. It's after Sam Kieth's cover to Marvel Comics Presents 94

Did this for a drawing group. Theme was monkeying around.

Hogarth's always a good bet and nice job with the motorcycle. I'm not familiar with drawing them so that's impressive.

Thanks FreshMeat! I really don't know much about motorcycles either. I re-drew that thing sooo many times trying to figure out what I was looking at in the reference drawing.. Eventually I said screw it and just started making stuff up while keeping somewhat close to the picture. I'm not overly thrilled with it but I don't think it's particularly terrible either. :P

    Some oooold stuff

Thought I would post up some of my older work here since there's no real trace of who I am or who I have been with my art.

Here's stuff I've posted elsewhere on PJ since I've joined.

Thanks man I think that was a study of a sculpt from monsterpalooza.. can't remember though..

Oh.. the second picture in the 2012 (with the giant mantis) was my take on a Ryan Church walkthrough on Corel Painter. I didn't stray too far from the original tutorial but I did make sure to make it my own.
