Just curious..but are you the same guy that worked on a book called Everlast? If so..that was a really good book!

These are great dude. Love the energy, love the explosiveness and the detail.

Your use of black and white is great. Line weight, textures, negative space ... all excellent.

I still have no idea what's going on, but with art this good, who needs a story?

Yeah, I drew some of that. Not really happy with how my art came out but it is what it is. Thanks for the shout out.

Too busy for my taste. Loads of detail are great, but when every single panel is loaded with lines it gets tiresome to the eye. Try opening it up in a few places, and that will make the detailed panels even better. Individually the panels look brilliant, but as a team it looks too busy.

Storytelling-wise, there are too many close-ups. There are several panels where I can't tell what belongs to who. Being selective with your detailing can help this problem, too. Overall, I'd like to see a good establishing shot with a medium amount of detail...that way I can see all of the character traits unobscured by shadow. Then when you hit us with the closeups, it's obvious who and what we're looking at.

Yeah, I don't like that theres a lot of close ups, either. Thing is, the writer also does the layouts for the pages and he loves his close ups. On the future pages, I'm going to try and push the camera back more and use some different angles while still respecting his layout. Balancing things is always the hardest part.

If someone does color it they should invest in the movie Redline.

Thats pretty much how I envisoned those pages being colored.

These are nuts. I can't even imagine putting that much detail into something and having it come out so solid. Yeah, can't really tell what's going on, but I'm sure colors and dialogue would help.

And inking with sharpies? That's crazy. I would have never guessed. Looks great though.

Yeah, you might want to step in a bit and have a bit more creative control, for the good of the book. As far as I can tell, because if the reliance of close-ups and the lack of clear establishing shots, that first page has 6 different people/objects in it, and they could all be in different rooms for all I know.
